This is an advanced course for first-year students with Renata Jančaříková (combined programme - classes on Friday). The aim is to consolidate and develop the students' knowledge of grammar at the advanced level. The introduction focuses on basic linguistic terminology. The main part of the course is dedicated to the English verb and its various grammatical categories, such as voice, aspect and tense. Other word classes are dealt with in Grammar B course in the spring semester.
