The aim of this course is to provide students with a means for developing and extending their use of English with particular emphasis on English related to teaching. It focuses on the English needed in the classroom, for studying the EFL teaching and learning, for participating in teacher development and teacher-training courses, conferences, workshops etc. The framework of the course is based upon a book called "English for the Teacher" (see Literature below), which is a language improvement course for teachers of English as a Foreign Language piloted successfully in various parts of the world with a range of different teachers.
