The course is based on the fourth textbook of a classroom-tested five-level English course Inside Out designed to develop real life communication skills built around structured work on grammar and lexis, planned speaking tasks and engaging writing and listening texts, thus developing all four skills. Since they are future teachers, they will learn to analyse the language for teaching purposes and will be aware of the fact that they have changed their roles - from being the users of the language into being the source of information about the language and language model providers. At the end of the course (i.e. after 6 semesters of the Practical Language Course) they are expected to achieve C2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference).
